Rich and Kay Gardner opened "Granite Rock Grill" three years ago under the name "Gold Miner Cafe #2". "Our great reputation that we earned in Folsom over the past twelve years, in combination with our Down to Earth, Home-style Menu and outstanding service made our Grand Opening in Rocklin a success from the first day". Kay explained... Together Rich and Kay have over 30 yrs. experience in the restaurant business. Rich and Kay insist! They couldn't have come this far without their energetic and knowledgeable staff.
From the moment you walk in the "Granite Rock Grill" you feel the energy and love that pours off Kay as she greets you, seats you, and gets to know you. "This quality of my wife is rarely found nowadays." Rich insists. "It's not something she works at it comes natural!" "Kay loves what she does." From the front of the restaurant to the back you'll see to feel this charismatic energy working. Rich insists on using the finest meats and produce from the most reputable purveyors. We bake our hamburger buns, cinnamon Rolls, and Biscuits daily. "It just doesn't get any fresher then this!" Rich said... The "Granite Rock Grill" has ventured to do something a little different with the menu. We have infused traditional Mexican Food with American Food for a whole new experience for your taste buds. From our Pork Chile Verde to our breakfast Quesadillas. We make our guacamole fresh daily and fresh roasted chilies are served on these Ethnic infused dishes.
We promise you won't leave the "Granite Rock Grill" hungry. Most people need a to-go box in order to finish their meal. It's just how we do business! Kay exclaims... We pride ourselves on large portions, fresh food, and Impeccable Service!
Rich and Kay invite you to this dining experience. We have a large dining room and can accommodate the largest parties whether it is: Family, Church, School, or Business. Just give us a call and we will have your table ready when you arrive.
